Hey, everyone,
It's been a few years, but I'm back on the forum. (Had a few nasty experiences with computer viruses that scared me away from the Internet for a while, along with a period of unemployment -- ouch!)
If this topic has been posted elsewhere, forgive me, but I read a couple of months ago that director William Friedkin is currently at work remastering his film "Sorcerer" with the intent of releasing it on DVD (and Blu-Ray, too, I believe) later this year. The completed reworked film is supposed to have its world premiere Aug. 29 at a film festival in (I think) Vienna. Don't know what bonus features it might have, but it would be cool to hear Friedkin remarking about hiring TD to score the film and his impressions of their resultant compositions.
I've been listening to the "Sorcerer" score lately to whet my appetite for the movie's rerelease on DVD. Any thoughts?
