Lhasa is a shorter version of the track The Blue Pearl on The Seven Letters From Tibet. Lhasa pre-dates The Blue Pearl BTW.

Thanks for the info. I read a little about it on Voices in the Net also. :-)

I partly agree. Lots of useless info indeed, but I'm not really that active there. I doubt I will deactivate my profile, but rather stay somewhere in the background... 8)

TD - Dream Encores

From Eastgate (no postage) :-)
I remember loving three of the Oasis tracks when I bought the CD around 15 years ago - the uptempo tracks Waterborne, Flashflood and Summer Storm. I found the "relaxing" tunes really boring though.

Nice track list on Dream Encores. I always liked Story Of The Brave, it somehow reminded me of Sylvester Levay's film music from the early 90s.

I have the full version of Quinoa on the Mystery Tracks bootleg. OK track, it sounds like Rockoon or 220 Volt Live without the guitars.

Voxel Ux I have on the Traumzeit bootleg. Nice track, typical Jerome 90s composition.

Jo Wang - Between Fingertip & Key (CD 2011)

Got this as a gift from the composer himself.

E@stgate:

Edgar Froese - Macula Transfer 2005
Picture Palace Music - Metropolis Poetry
Iris Camaa - Straight From The Shoulder

Kind of "Non-TD" order. I really don't know if I'll like Camaa's album... ...PPM is something new for me too.

I guess Iris' album is with vocals, and with no synths?

The Simple Minds CD is great! Criminal World is one of my favorite SM songs.
The Mark Hollis album I have only streamed a couple of times. Did not seem too interesting, but may grow on you (me).
Pat Metheny is always good.

I have had the Simple Minds album on a tape copy since 1995, but never bought the CD...until now. Indeed a great album.

I guess the Hollis album is highly experimental, but I have warmed up to Talk Talk's Spirit Of Eden and Laughing Stock lately, so I decided I wanted this for the cheap price it had.

I bought Metheny's Imaginary Day CD when it was released 15 years ago. Interesting album.

Due to the idiotism of postal service I didn't get these for the weekend.

Iris' album might be very different from TD's music but that doesn't matter. What matters is the quality of the music. I'm not locked to a certain type of music. TD is almost the only "synth" music I listen to. I listen to a lot of classical music, The Prodigy, Autechre, King Crimson, Tangerine Dream, Carly Simon and lots of other stuff.
