But I think many people around here have those albums....
Did wonder whether Kamikaze would be released soon since the Fassbinder Memorial concert was also held at the Alte Oper in Frankfurt.24db wrote:both of these albums are now available in the download section
Is it re-recorded ? I've only heard the previews and never heard the original but it doesnt sound like there's modern tangetising going on ?Ryoanji wrote:Kamikaze (1989) - Love the original - dislike the re-recording.
Just wish Edgar and EMI would "bury the hatchet" and get the proper original soundtrack album reissued.
You bought the 92 version second-hand at one of those incredible price ?multivit72 wrote:received Kamikaze CD today from amazon marketplace.
nice if unspectacular at first listen, but I immediately liked
" Flying Kamikaze"
In a very, very strange way this reminds me of the soundtrack of the Commodore 64 game "Fist II" (which I absolutely adore..)

I looked on both amazon france and UK and didn't see any other version...
Well, you have been lucky as the ones I saw this evening from Marketplace sellers on Amazon.fr and Amazon.uk are much, much more expensive. And they were mentioning 1992 as the year of release... No matter, they are very often completely wrong as regards the year of release - and even as regards the record label sometimes !multivit72 wrote:not sure what the above comment is supposed to mean?
anyway, to answer the question raised, it is the 1988 UK version which I bought at amazon marketplace Germany for 9,99 euro plus 3 euro postage.
the booklet is slightly damaged, but I still considered it a decent price
if I understand VitN correctly, there is only one uk cd version from 1988, and the german versions are the same but with an additional sticker
(plus, there is a 1988 US version apparently)
