I've been away from the Forum for a few weeks, so I'm late picking up on this thread. Unbelievably, I'm on holiday in the West Country when this gig takes place (has EF got access to my diary? ?).

That said, it's way beyond what I can afford. For those lucky enough to attend, I wish you bon voyage and a fantastic evening.

I've dropped it into conversation with my wife and so far it's not looking good. Still there's a bit of time between now and then for a little gentle persuasion.

Mind you work isn't going to easy to convince. All leave has been cancelled in August, we move into a new lab and there are many c*ck-ups to sort out. We already know about a few.

My wife was out on the raz last night, came home roaring drunk at 03:30 and I was very "understanding" as she staggered around the house, trying to find the bedroom. I reckon that's brownie points in the bag and one step closer to Berlin.
