all EM forums are dead these days...in fact sometimes this place is the only site with some life in it
Yep, EM is certainly dead. It has been a terrible year for EM as we stand by helplessly watching long established bell weathers disappear from the net. The amount of damage done to EM is incalculable. Most certainly, new fans will be exceedingly hard to come by. The average age of an EM fan will only go up. The EM community is incapable of bringing new life into this tired, worn out genre.

Ironically, the music is doing well. TD's recent output is top notch. But they are such an unknown now that it almost doesnt matter what they do. They only play to a miniscule audience these days.

JUKEBOX UPDATE NOTES
Current mood: blessed
Category: Music

hi there,

gosh, 2007 is almost over ... therefore I uploaded some new tunes on the jukebox for your listening pleasure over the holidays and beyond. SMT is going quite well so i had no time for an earlier update, sorry.

the new titles are:

Airborne (taken from my new solo album "Shiver me timbers")
Cartoony Universe (a track from SMT as well)
My Reality At 52 Degrees Of Latitude (taken from my 2005 debut album "Neptunes")
Decoding With Celine (LIVE 2006) (another title from "Neptunes" as a soundboard recording from a gig in London 2006 - DOWNLOADABLE!!)
Quatermasters Nightmare (the last and also simultaneously the newest title i've composed within my 16 years TD membership)
Stratosfear (Jeromes Krautrock Blueprint) (a dream mixes style track i made last year, which will probably never see the light of day on a record release. main intention was to remix TD's "Stratosfear" in a way like a rock band would have played it. credits here go to baumann, froese, franke of course.
that's it for now.
happy holidays to all of you!!!! (and a happy new year as well :-))))
and now enjoy the music

best,

jerome

So is there a sneaky way of downloading the Stratosfear remix? It's great.

I agree entirely John, excellent work from Jerome. Let's hope we can hear it live soon!

I was thinking somewhere closer to home, but if he's planning gigs around our holiday arrangements, then Gran Canaria, late October/early November, would be good!
