You've obviously got a greater knowledge of exactly how TD perform then. Cheers

Anyway...dragging this back on topic, there's nothing stopping Iris triggering some more 'electronic' sounding beats from her V-Drums or pads (well she has done this already)

I don't care if it's HP & EP as long as it is doesn't detract from the EM

I just think that sometimes mixing EP & Iris's work tends to make the percussion side of performance drown out the rest of the music
which is why IMHO people have taken to SIN, SUIN & JDA

Chris Franke interviewed in 1981 (many thanks to Nikos for the translation from the original Greek article):

C.F.- Yes we finally managed to get rid of the synthesized drums. Now we have samples of real drum sounds on computer memory, and with the equipment we are having at our disposal we can reproduce perfectly the sound of a real drummer playing, and you can’t disagree with me: the result is impressive.

I love Drums played by Human, as long it is not Iris who tries to be in time with the Machines.
Sorry, but It's not possible to play along with machines properly, as long as you don't have a click-track on your ear.
The main reason, I think, why Iris is so hard to audible on the TD-DVDs
