A few months ago I Bought Blade Runner on Vinyl.
The sound Quality is awesome.

Antarctica is now Blu-ray disc.
First time on Blu-ray disc it on DTS HD Audio Master Now on region free.
Also is coming out on Vinyl LP (180GR) I must look for it on Vinyl.

I have to say every one is different from other composers Vangelis like many others is unique heaven and hell has some quite superb sounds and for me the grigorian chant sounds were among the finest samples I have had the pleasure to listen to.

Delighted to hear that the premiere of the classic Rossif/Vangelis film La Fete Sauvage takes place in Paris on Monday, June 16, followed by its nation-wide theatrical release in France from 18th. Several years ago during my time at Paramount Pictures in London I tried getting them and the
BFI interested in saving and restoring it. I remember the search for the film itself led to the original cans of film in a studio basement in Paris, and at the time no idea of the state they were in. Thankfully since then someone continued the quest to save this masterpiece. Do see if you can

A few years ago I earmarked the Delectus box set as something worth looking into (so far I own almost no Vangelis albums from that era). Remembering it today again for some reason (cough) it seems to have sold out by now but the components are still around for 10 € apiece… maybe a pretty good deal also.
