Hoping like hell Europe + UK's general downward trajectory of Covid-19 continues and we don't experience a second surge like that in USA right now.

Hi

My thoughts tend to be that Americans, sometimes, can be reckless and that their "freedom" is explained by going to the beach in Florida and immediately making it the worst state with these cases ... it is strange, and weird, how we measure "freedom".

However, I think, in general, that the media may also be making this all worse than it might really be, as some folks are now out to replace a president ... or something like that ... politics here feels like another lousy, cheap and over rated Hollywood flick!

However, in another board and thread, I am of the opinion that artists need to get on to the STREAMING side of things before the studios and record companies get a hold of it all and make it difficult for a band to do one of these shows, when it would be competing with 27 teenage heart throbs, and 32 women dressed like hookers, and ...

The board I wrote this at, did not like the idea, but I really believe that if you want to be known, seen and appreciated, you don't sit in your room and create another "song" that no one will ever hear and will die with you when everyone gets rid of all the computers and every thing else in your house ... they never understood your music, anyway!

Hoping for the best ... I have to admit that if the current TD made it to Seattle, or SF, I will probably make the trip ... as hard is it will be on a 70 year old fart! Not that I need to see TD now, saw them all the way back on their 1st and 2nd American tours in America (LA - Santa Monica Civic, and then Greek Theater) ... and twice more later ... and I don't feel the pressing need to feel the vibe ... all the LIVE ALBUMS do this for me quite well.

Won’t happen of course, but the idea is nice. Maybe next year?
