Just purchased the original soundtrack to the new Cargo film (Not the recent Martin Freeman one!!) by Thorsten and Picture Palace Music. An excellent album with Thorsten on top form. He is helped in places by three ladies, including Hoshiko Yamane, on Cello, Viola and Violin. Runs for around 66 minutes and well worth adding to your collection. Nice one Thorsten - look forward to seeing the movie too.
I got this today. I agree, this is TQ/PPm in top form. Lovely soundtrack. Very moody and dramatic at the same time. Perfect film music, and a really great album in itself also. Could easily pass as a regular, new PPm release. Actually a bit more TD sounding than previous PPm albums, I think. Top score from me!
Anyone know where I can get a download for this soundtrack? There is a link on PPM's website, but it doesn't seem to be active. I emailed Eastgate 24 24 hours ago but no reply at present.
Downloaded it on Wednesday. Listened twice in its entirety. Certainly not disappointed with it Could be a grower. It seems more in keeping with Tangerine Dream stuff rather than PPM's previous stuff. I would certainly recommend buying it.
