I am glad because this morning the postman delivered the new album. Shall I be patient enough to listen to it only on Sunday for Christmas? I do not believe !

Arrived to me today! I really enjoyed "Muon", but "Tau" feels like a filler disc in comparison. White Eagle isn't very successful here, the balance between tracks is quite wrong in my opinion.

Just finished my first listen of this double EP... and that was very nice !
"4.00pm SESSION" is very reminiscent of their 70's concerts (especially 75 and 76, I would say)... but also with modern sounds.
Really interesting and I hope they will play this kind of track in future concerts.

Likewise, first listen completed.
Disc 1, Muon, just oozes 70s TD
Disc 2,Tau , great live tracks, sound quality is excellent.
Really, really enjoyed that, both discs. Great stuff TD.

Really good release. 1st disc is around 52 mins with the first track standing at an amazing 29 mins approx.!! Second live disc is about 36 mins and is a good sound bite from the concert. Well done Thorsten, Ulrich and Hoshiko - another fine set forming a part of the Quantum Years. Long Live TD in the memory of the one and only Edgar.

The long improv is just o.k..Good to hear.the rest of disc one is promising. The wee live disc is excellent with different versions of well known tunes. All in all a good effort.imho.

Absolutely love the re-work of MOTHERS OF RAIN, and the STRANGER THINGS theme.
4:00pm SESSION is interesting and a welcome return to the improv ethos of the 1970s.
Is it me, or is that piece most reminiscent of Michael Hoenig's DEPARTURE FROM THE NORTHERN WASTELAND rather than any TD track!???
Anyway, highly recommended, and great value considering this double EP is actually as long as a double album.

Taking me ages to get buy this. I guess I'm still in mourning and it felt disloyal.
Anyway, yes 4pm session is reminiscent of the old gigs and it can't be too bad as I keep playing it. Mixed feelings on the standards. Good to hear new instrumentations though.
Is it TD? Pointless discussion I've decided - labels divide - I'm just going with I like the music.
