Tangerine Dream

Here we are on 1st November 2017 and still no word on the DVD release or the issuing of my other rewards. Will it ever happen, I wonder?

Well, I understand that Eastgate are in the throws of shipping the rewards but have just heard from TAG/TRAUM that the documentary DVD is not likely to be shipped until nearer the end of November 2017 now. I still hope that I will get my copy in time for Christmas. They have shown a copy of the DVD sleeve which is in German, so do not know if their will be a English version. Probably not!!

At the end of the Documentary we can see how the very very beautiful Album "Quantum Gate" was recorded by Thorsten, Ulrish and Hoshiko

Are there English subtitles?

I finally received the DVD (in Paris) and I'm watching it now...

English and german subtitles are available.

Received and watched it yesterday. Very good short history of Edgar and TD with some interesting clips. Could have been double the length though as a lot of the TD years were not covered. Still good to have something at least. Some of the bigger crowdfunders should have had their names in the opening credits but that did not appear to have happened. All crowdfunders were shown in the end credits!! Also, there was a mistake with the year shown for the Starmus concert when it came up as 2012, when of course it was 2011.

Got mine today! Haven't had a chance to see it all. Noticed Chris Franke's name in the end credits.

Just what I thought when I saw it online earlier. Strange that they just talk about the 70s, and a bit about the 80s.

(The same thing happened with Edgar's book. But I guess his death had something to do with that... )

But the 65 minutes of extras make it interesting nevertheless. Are those extras from 2017 and Quantum Gate?

Jon, the 'extras' are half a dozen 'interviews', a couple of live tracks from 2007 and 2011 and the film trailer. Not anything really to do with TD now, apart from a little bit, I think, by Bianca.
