I just saw the news on the TD homepage.

Very sad.

I'm sure his music has been part of many of our lives for so long it's hard to believe he is no more. Very sad day for his family, friends, fans and music.

What a tragic loss for music. I'm so sad...

I'm in a state of shock (like many many people, I'm sure), it's so hard to believe...

All my thoughts to Edgar's family (especially Bianca and Jerome), his friends, all TD members and team.
Words are not enough to say how much he will be missed.

I am incredibly saddened. I just received the news and I am at my desk in my office CRYING!

Edgar and TD have been a part of my life since my teenage years. Tangerine Dream has been the soundtrack to my LIFE. It is part of WHO I AM!

A part of ME has died with him!

I am DEVASTATED!

Just opened my mail, and read the news from Andy, 24db.
Followed by the mail of Bianca.

It's very sad, but Edgar will live forever in his music.
We may remember him as one of the greatest Pioneers in Electronic Music.
The music of Tangerine Dream is and was very important for me and enriched my life.

Wishing Bianca much strength.
Our thoughts are with her.

Offenbach, May 31st 2014 was my very first TD concert.

I have listened to the music for more than 30 years but never saw them on stage before.
Today I am sad but also I feel lucky that I had the chance to see Froese at least once in concert.

Crushing news for those of us who love his music.

I've been a TD fan since Logos...was a few years late to the party but I quickly caught up on their albums and from there I've followed TD and Edgar's solo work.

Tangerine Dream has been one of my biggest musical obsessions. The music has inspired my artwork and writing to no end.

Thank you Edgar....thank you for sharing your music with us.

My thoughts go to your friends and family.

I'll play my favorite TD albums today in your memory, sir.
