So I thought I'd give the book a go. Amusing, frustrating and surreal - some of it almost Milligan / Goons. Certainly enjoyed it

I have been listening to the Sonic Poem Series CDs again. Franz Kafka - The Castle feels a major step down after brilliant Finnegans Wake. It's possible of course, that my opinion changes over the time and one day The Castle will be my favorite of the series, but for now Finnegans Wake is superior for me, the pinnacle of the series.
Track 10 "A Place of Mercy" is my current favorite of The Castle.
