This is a terrific recent interview with Moroder. He talks about all kind of things, and what struck me was how incredibly humble and sympathetic he seems.

Me mentions Keith Forsey, Harold Faltermeyer and Jerry Bruckheimer, and talks about Alan Parker orginally wanting Vangelis for Midnight Express. Actually, he reminds me a bit of Faltermeyer when he speaks.

The great bit of news is that he is supposed to do a film score with Hans Zimmer next summer, as far as I could understand.

He has also been working with Daft Punk, and he came from Donna Summer's funeral just before this interview.

He was never a big Kraftwerk fan, and he doesn't listen much to music. He's not a tech-guy.

His first musical inspiration was the Switched On Bach album.

Towards the end, Nile Rodgers comes to the stage, embracing Moroder.
