Some interesting scenarios
a) Edgar, Chris and Peter busked rubycon around london tube stations in 1975
Not sure how they'd get all the equipment especially the Moog Modular down the escalators. The bass of the sequencers would probably vibrate the station causing lights to fall out. Bu I'm sure they'd get a lot of money for being completely different to most buskers.
b) Cyclone was a triple LP
Might be a concept album? Probably would have more singing by Steve Jolliffe
c) TD played a gig in the audience while the audience sat on the stage
That would be a lot of people packed like sardines on stage while TD would have a very large space.
d) TD won 'Britain's got Talent'
They would probably have to do backflips and dancing to win that show nowadays. [Imagines Edgar and Peter doing funky moves while Chris backflips over his Moog Modular]
e) Chris Franke's Moog Modular in OZ 1975 was battery powered
Would be portable, but would have used all the batteries in Australia
f) BM married Linda and Iris and all lived happily ever after on his private island, frolicking noode in fields of buttercups, daisies and lupins.......
BM Would have a good time.
g) Electronic Meditation had been released last week and not in 1970
It wouldn't be historic and have no context in the development of sound for TD
h) EM forums had some humour and humility and respect
There would be more bliss in the world and less handbags at dawn.
I) TD did a homage to Redshift
That would be a very weird scenario, probably a nightmare for Andy given Redshift are not exactly his favourite band.
J) TD played a gig in Antarctica, would TD fans attend despite the penguins
I think some fans would definitely attend despite the cost and difficulties getting there. Whether TD's gear would work is another question. More importantly whether TD could even play is a big question. If they apparently had problems at the Poland concerts, then I'm not sure how they'd play in Antarctica. The penguins would probably find it interesting, maybe one the penguins might hug the band.
