Just watched the Matisse program in the Modern Masters series. Very good once again and also quite moving. Nice to hear some of Ulrich Schnauss' music making an appearance.

Is that the reason it was cancelled? Seems a real shame, it was very popular at the time. Really don't see the risk.bigmoog wrote:billythefish wrote:That programme used to make me laugh like a baby. same here......
but I think the 'health and safety' 'laws' restrict its return, sadly.
no idea why it was cancelled, but I can imagine TV producers these days being very wary of H&S, especially at the bbc.......just a guess tho and speculation.Chris Monk wrote:Is that the reason it was cancelled? Sadly that's just too believable. Everything on TV these days is just so risk free and 'lowest common denominator'.bigmoog wrote:no idea why it was cancelled, but I can imagine TV producers these days being very wary of H&S, especially at the bbc.......just a guess tho and speculation.Chris Monk wrote:Is that the reason it was cancelled?
