From Mike's fantastic Friars Vale site. Have a butchers at the live shot of TD taken by John Braley. I wonder what the white pieces are that are sticking out from the table just under Peter's ARP 2600. Any ideas?

Cheers...actually I meant what's under it...the table...but it has white bits coming out of it.

They remind me of organ foot pedals. But they're a bit high up!

weird isn't it? Can't imagine that you'd choose to have a table with bits coming out of it, but I've no idea what it is

It looks like that to me too or a set of Moog bass pedals. I've seen several artists playing these by hand in the past; John Hackett to name but one.

I wonder if they're knee-controls? I've never heard of them with synths, but know that some harmoniums and organs used to have knee controls.

That looks just like a pedal board... perhaps they mounted it at higher level so it could be triggered with elbow, fist or chin?

Doesn't look like the same thing as the Friar's thing to me. Not enough pedals. Is it a small sound mixer?
