I didn't know this...

In January 2007 this release became available as MP3 download at the Tangerine Dream Download Shop. On this download re-release the only two of the original tracks that were composed by Jerome Froese have been replaced by new compositions by Edgar Froese which are not available on any regular CD release at time of writing.

To bad the bitrate for the download version is only 128 k/s. Otherwise I would have downloaded it.

I am surprised the download store haven't yet 'upped the quality of these and others to 320kb. As gesture to those of us who have already purchased the downloads at the lower quality they could be offered at a greatly reduced price (or gratis????)

Failing that a nice little compilation of the rarer download tracks at (of course a greatly reduced price).....or even included a Booster compilation in the not to distant future......

Hmm.....I always thought Meng Tian was out of place on the album..although it is a superb track on it's own.

For most people Meng Tian is out if place on the record. In a way, it is out of place because it's so different from the rest of the album. It's too uptempo. But IMO, Meng Tian is a very great track in the way of "Dream Mixes". In fact, this track, with Cradle of Prodigies are my 2 favorites tracks from the record. And i think they are from Jerome....

A photograph without contrast is pretty boring. Same goes with music. Mien Tiang offers a wonderful contrast to the other tracks within the album.

And out of place or not, to yank two tunes off an album that has been released for quite some time is wrong! Surely those tunes were released for a reason the 1st time.

I downloaded the version in the TD shop and I would have to agree that Mien Tiang is an awesome track. Been listening to it heaps lately.

GWOC sounds modern in texture with very familiar themes. Not listened to much by me, but its enjoyable nethertheless - some great tracks.
