Listened to the first 5 Simple Minds albums back to back this week...on hearing them you realise just how important these albums are and also how very good but different from each other they are. 8)

Off to see The Musical Box preform the Lamb album next month in Glasgow. :D

Yeah, so many songs from those first albums where really great to hear live. They sounded amazing! I also have the X5 box. Great to have them all in remastered sound. :-)
The Musical Box is also awesome of course.

Eh... Yes! I'm surprised you missed it, Jon. Sold out at Sentrum Scene. Fantastic mood! Playing all their New Wave period stuff. Fantastic!

Actually, I had forgotten all about it. I guess I wouldn't have travelled all the way to Oslo for it anyway.

If you're a big fan you would. It's not that long, after all. It was a perfect concert. Now I wait for the next tour with newer material again.

Easy for you to say, living in the middle of Oslo, where all the stuff happens.

I guess I'm not too big a fan, then... 8)

Well, I would have traveled. Travelling to other countries several times a year for concerts I cannot see here in Oslo. :-)
