I asked Thorsten that question Tim. He used a vocoder, and I think he said the track was called Tomorrow Never Comes. Very good piece IMHO

Looks like I missed a lot. And what was the complete setlist?
Nice pictures here, by the way.

No doubt some one had written done a set list for both Scotland and London gigs.

But highlights for me were: Trauma, the various parts of Tangram and Hyperborea, Carmel Calif, Hunter Shot by Yellow Rabbit , Going West, Love on a Real Train 2008, and of course Cloudburst Flight that was just perfect ! 8)

That version of Going West was stunning - there were a lot of new interpretations of classics that we had not heard before.

BTW Great pictures everyone :-)

Fabulous show, really enjoyed seeing the lasers and wish I'd brought my DSLR rather than the iphone. That the band seemed to be having a really good time made it all the more fun.

Personal highlights were the various bits of Tangram - can't remember ever hearing any of that at a concert, Sphinx lightning and of course Cloudburst flight.

I was standing immediately in front of the sound desk or whatever it's called and have to agree to an extent with a couple of posts earlier about the sound quality. It wasn't too loud but during the main set the mid range seemed be absent so some of the melodies were lost amongst the high frequencies of the percussion and bass sequences. It seemed much better to me (near spot on) during the encores.

Hoping for a DVD release...

Some parts were incredibly bassy - reminded me of the stomach impacts during the logos concert many many years ago.

i used a new pair of earplugs on Saturday which knock out the bad frequencies - worked extremely well , and i didn't suffer , although we were right at the front , with the usual after gig whistle 8)

This show was a big moment.I liked every TDshow that I was seeing in live or in dvd , but this night, it was something magic that I can't explain. All the band was on the top
I was very happy too to meet all the fans in the premeeting and in the backstage. I am really sorry for my bad english.

I think that the tracklist is:

Trauma
Serpent magique
No Man's Land
Sally's Garden
Hyperborea part 2
Sphinx Lightning (excerpt)
Carmel Calif
Leviathan
Tangram 2008 (Wisdom and tragedy ?)
Blue Bridge (with Edgar on guitar)
Fire on the mountain
Tangram 2008 (Leaving the Masters for God)
Cinnamon Road 2008
Hunter Shot by a Yellow Rabbit
Sarabande of haendel ?
...............................
Tangram 2008 (Wu Wei)
Sphinx Lightning (2nd excerpt)
Going West
Legend (Unicorn Theme)
...................................
Love on The Real Train (2008)(fantastic!!!)
Le Parc
Sadness of Echnaton
One Night in Space
..............................
? (with The voice of Thorsten)
Cloudburst Flight (fantastic!!!)

Thank you Edgar and the Band for this fantastic night.

Charles

:D What a terrific gig and seemed to me to be a lot louder than last years. Loved the laser show too. was upstairs so really saw them to great effect. Unfortunately the staff there decided just as TD started to come round asking to see peoples tickets to make sure they were meant to be upstairs, presumably because there were a lot of people wandering about looking for somewhere to sit. Why didn't they just make sure to start with that people going upstairs were holders of upstairs tickets?? But going by the fiasco at the start waiting for the 'early' entrance for TDOC members it didn't surprise me one bit. Not the most organised bunch of people I've ever met. was sorry I couldn't hang around afterwards to meet the band but had to get away fast to get my trains home. If they come over again in the next year or so I will definitely book in to a hotel for the night so I can meet them. Longing for the DVD now!! :D
