Music aside Har I've had the misfortune to see the keep and it's a very poor film IMO.

I will give it a go and focus on the music :)

Never heard TD The Keep yet, and certainly not paying the prices I have seen said soundtrack at, nae chance.

Hopefully TD will release same at some point , along with other appropriate soundtracks, as I would much prefer to direct my dosh their way.

I've just noticed this on Tadream, posted by AK. Hope he doesn't mind me posting it on here.
From William Friedkin

"Re: SORCERER. The original negative is in good condition. And it's now being
budgeted to make a new digital master. I'll keep you updated...Guys I can only
tell you that SORCERER will not be Released by Criterion. More info as it
develops".
Seriously hope something comes of this. I am absolutely, profusely gagging * to see this film again. Not seen it since I was a very young lad. AND at that time the music burned into my psyche thus enriching my life for evermore to this very date  8)

* translation - be gagging for - Slang - to be very eager to have or do something

Rented Legend because of the TD soundtrack. Should have done more research, because it was the version with the Goldsmith soundtrack. Wasted time, because the film was rather boring. Turned it off halfway through. :P

I really like Legend but, although a shorter version, the one with the TD soundtrack is so much better. I am not just saying that because I am a massive TD fan but it happens to be true IMHO. :D

Bought some Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan DVDs v cheap off ebay - mainly as a memento of watching them as a kid with dad.

Also 1939 King Kong out of nostalgia, still engaging for me

"Quicksilver Highway"

Funny little horror movie from 1997 which involves a travelling man who tells two different stories, one by Stephen King and the other by Clive Barker. I'm a big Stephen King fan (or used to be; yeah, more like it) so I'm watching it right now.
