I can see now that I should perhaps used another expression

in this context "The Big Day" just refers to the chance to see TD live in concert, so no secrets here, Colin :D

I will be staying at the Princes Square Hotel in Kensington - arriving some time Friday evening - my flight from Bergen to Gatwick is scheduled to land 7.30. Going back to Bergen Sunday evening - no Edinburgh for me unfortunately :(
that hotel is way out mate, you'll need to be careful about transport back after the gig
There ar quite a few of us staying in the Kensington area (after a mess up with the original bookings) so Im sure you wont be alone Stein. 8)
Where are you staying now then?

My word I can't keep up :(

Good news!

Fortunately my beloved mum (bless her) has promised me to borrow the money for the refund from the bankrupt travel agancy I have in prospect.
Also I had overtime hours enough for taking Friday the 31st October off. I have booked a hotel very near The Forum (Camden Road), and I have bought a plane ticket to arrive in Gatwick at 14:45 on the 31st October.

:D
