Not been there since the refurb but i should imagine its been wothwhile.
I had a look in there before going to the QEH...not that much different, bar the shops have been removed

The TEU in Eindhoven was an excellent venue, but as Andy pointed out if you were in the first 12 or so rows you got a strained neck.

The Alter Oper is on another level completely ! possibly the greatest venue for a concert Ive ever attended. :)

Should have thought about that last October, coul dhave brought a couple of bricks back each !

As i said before "St David's Hall" in Cardiff is NO Alte Oper but would suit TD down to the ground.......PERFECT venue in every which way and they have not been here since 1976 :idea: :wink: :idea: :wink: :idea:

It would have been the water from the fountain that would have caused mad panic at the airport !

totally agree I think St.Davids Hall would be an excellent venue for the Dream - How about it EF.

I've seen a few shows there and they've all been great. Everyone gets a good view of the stage and the acoustics are great.....


...plus it's just down the road from here.
