Peforming An Album In Its Entirety!!

Post by cantosis »

After watching the Jarre "Live In Your Living Room" live peformance of Oxygene it got me thinking about seeing artists peformiing an album live in it`s entirety.

I had the honour of seeing Roger Waters peform DSOTM last year and it was superb, Davild Gilmour of course has done the same thing under the Pink Floyd Banner on the Pulse tour, Even TD did it last year with MFD.

Is there any TD album from the past you would love to see peformed live in its entirety?.

I would love to hear Force Majure as the older albums, I love everything about that album, The Keep would be interesting and of the newer albums it would be Seven Letters From Tibet. 8)

great idea, but BM thinks that it would be better to hear new work....if TD played the whole of FM, then I would welcome it....as long as it was a new interpretation and not note for note repeat repeat

It would actually be cool to hear one of the older albums peformed live on the all the original old stuff, a bit like Jarre did on the DVD.

This is okay, if you have very talented musicians working with you, but really if you want something to be played in it's entirity it needs to be done with the original line up.

Cloudburst Flight ... Cloudburst Flight ... Cloudburst Flight ! :D
If Edgar doesn't want to play the E-guitar solo, he still could play the acoustic guitar intro and let Gerald Gradwohl or Bernhard Beibl do the hard work...
