I wonder why Jerome is charging so much for his CD's..I've ordered them but think they are a tad dear.

Maybe he's in it for the business? I mean we're all out to make a buck or two.

Jerome is a smart guy, he usually pitches things around the right mark, he knows most fans will pay it.

:( Will not pay that money for it so that is one less sale he can notch up. Cannot see the point in overcharging. If he sold it for say £13 to £14 more people would be interested and the sales would increase. One more JF cd that will not be in my collection. :(

A bit on the expensive side, yes, but I'm pretty sure the music is worth it.

As my original post, those prices are from CDServices.
I have it on very good authority that the Moonpop prices will be
18 Euros for "Face" and " 17 Euros for "cases".

Which converts to around £ 15 and £ 14

(Face will be in a digipak with special print. :) )

So, feel free to order lots of copies direct from Jerome/Moonpop 8)

Email from Cybersounds/Jerome:

Dear cliff proctor,
We're proud to announce our newest releases: JEROME FROESE - FAR SIDE OF THE FACE (NEW STUDIO ALBUM AND FOLLOW UP TO SHIVER ME TIMBERS FROM 2007) Artist: Jerome Froese Product: Far Side Of The Face Release: June 08th, 2012 Label: Moonpop Cat No. moon CD-705 Format: 1 CD Digipak (Special Print) Tracks: 01. Flight Of Fancy 05:53min 02. Novembernauts 14:19min 03. Scroll To Position 07:25min 04. Her Majesty's Adornments 10:10min 05. Crystal Red 04:56min 06. Inner Canon Of The Yellow Emperor 05:54min 07. A Neo-Victorian Romance 05:48min 08. Control Your Curiosity 06:22min 09. Captain Of The Skies 03:45min Seven time GRAMMY nominated and Berlin based musician, Jerome Froese, is certainly one of the most creative guitar-electro-rockers on the instrumental music scene. After seven years of prolific releases, he's ready to release his third solo album "Far Side Of The Face" on 8th June 2012. This album is a culmination of hard work, creativity and passion and of course a consistent further development of his own created music style called: GUITARTRONICA. As special guest musician Jerome Froese invited long time "Tangerine Dream" keyboarder and highly praised solo artist Johannes Schmoelling to play some of his characteristic overdrive and analog style melodies and effects on two songs. Johannes Schmoelling was a driving force on TD's classic albums: Tangram, White Eagle and Logos just to name a few. "Far Side Of The Face" is a mixture of conciliative and optimistic tunes combined with Jerome's signature sound of guitar sequencing, pumping beats, FX gimmickry and atmospheric layers, making his music to be one of a kind. On "Far Side Of The Face" you'll find longing, devotion and self-discovery and by the time the album concludes you’ll feel you’ve taken part on an intimate journey.

On Facebook it sounds like Jerome was a little concerned that the email hadn't gone out. Seems that everyone received it though.

Ordered my copies of Far Side Of The Face and Cases Of Recurrence yesterday. Total bill was pretty steep but I'm sure it'll be worth it. Almost ordered them by accident. I'd forgotten when the pre-order was going to start but we lost our digital TV signal so I logged onto the internet and went to the Moonpop site, even though I hardly ever go there. Kind of spooky really or just my subconscious working over-time.
