Your favourite TD concert

Post by 24db »

I know it's been done before, and perhaps it's pretty daft trying to rate all your TD concerts in order of how much you enjoyed them, but anyway...here's mine ;):

1.Dominion Theatre, London 1982
2.Hammersmith Odeon, London 1981
3.Hammersmith Odeon, London 1986/Shepherds Bush Empire 2005
4.Picture House, Edinburgh, 2008
5.Alte Oper, Frankfurt, 2007
6.The Forum, London, 2008
7.Shepherd's Bush Empire, London, 1996
8.Astoria, London 2003
9.Astoria, London 2007
10.TUe, Eindhoven, 2008
11.Shepherd's Bush Empire, London 1997
12.Shepherd's Bush Empire, London 2001
13.Hammersmith Odeon 1990
14.Royal Festival Hall, London 2004

Has anyone else got an favourites? only TD though!

Why did Jeanne d'Arc rate so low?

Probably for the same reason, I did not enjoy all of 'views from a red train' instantly.

I saw that on the headline news thread, I see he has been to two TD concerts as well.

Off topic but I have applied for a job with network rail

1. November 20 1980 Warfield Theater San Francisco (My favorite live show of all time.)
2. April 26, 1977 Santa Monica Civic (My introduction to TD)

3. November 15, 1986 Warfield Theater San Francisco (Special performance for Mill Valley Film Festival. TD performed soundtrack music with the movies projected on a screen above them. There were a number of live acts there including a very strong performance by Stuart Copeland, Adrian Belew, and Stanly Clarke. TD played only about 40 minutes but they stole the show. Whatever else you think of “Love on a Real Train” the ultimate way to experience it is with the film projected above the band while they play it.)

4. Royce Hall, Los Angeles November 7, 2008

5. June 3, 1986 Warfield Theater

6. October 27, 1992 San Francisco Warfield

7. October 30 Los Angeles Wiltern and November 1, 1992 Ventura

8. October 22 and 23, 1988 Wiltern Theater and October 24 Berkeley (Rockface)

9. July 12, 1995, SIR Theater (With Models got to shake Edgar’s had afterwards!)

10. October 28, 1992 San Juan Capistrano
