From this Saturday till November the first I'll be sure
to be mentioning again the forthcoming gigs and the
whole fan meet details. I do know, although not on
the attendee list for the meet itself, that quite a few of
the TDFZ radio shows featured artists have TD
concert tickets and informed me over the last couple
of weeks they will be sure to be joining us all at
the pre-meet bash..roll on November 8)
we need their names Chris :)
Hi Andy there are more names on the way but a
confirmed one you can add to the list is musician
Thomas Rydell whose just got back to me :D
92 :)

come to think of it, that's more than some musicians get at a gig :D

perhaps we can ask a few of the musicans to come down with a few CDs?...might be a good chance for them to find some new fans over a pint

in fact....how about just coming down to pub?, even if you're not going to the gig, where else are you doing to find 60-90 TD fans in North London? ;) Besides you'll be getting most of the fans before they spend far too much money at the merch stand ;)

Good idea Andy I'll pass the word on to Thomas and
the others who I hope get back to me. Not sure what
his plans are later in the afternoon but I'm hoping to be
meeting up with Michel Huygen that morning for an
interview so I'll also see if I can tempt him to come along
for a few buckets of Banana beer and TD buffoonery

Well, that's me officially green with envy that I can't make the London fan meet :(

I was actually lucky enough to meet Michel Huygen after the Neuronium gig at the UK Electronica Festival in Sheffield (mid eighties, I think). Damn nice bloke.

what are you trying to do man, put him off? ;) nice one Chris

It never ceases to amaze me that musicians don't see these fan meets as an opportunity to flog their latest CDs, hell even if they don't sell many, it's good PR and raises their profile a little (come down with a dozen Cds, a Mp3 player, let people have a listen tour latest masterpiece, have a chat, see what people like or don't like about the latest music, it's a win-win situation!). If this was a Groove E-Day they'd all be there with stalls (not that you can get stalls in a pub, but you get the picture).
