New Solo Album by Jerome Froese

Post by obiwankenomi »

On Jerome's webspace, http://www.myspace.com/jerometadream , he announced his new soloalbum to be released in the first quarter of this year. The album has no title yet. Curious what it would sound like. Loved Neptunes. Hope this one will at least as good.

Yep. Really looking forward to this release. It'll be interesting to see which way this one goes. Will it be more guitar or more electronics?

Neptunes for me was just a really cool experience, the perfect soundtrack to play if you were taking a long trip to the aformentioned blue planet.

At Marianas Trench is another fave of mine, got it on my mp3, what a wonderfully atmospheric track 8)
You were only supposed to blow the bladdy doors off!!!!

I love Neptunes to pieces. Amazing what a few guitar effects pedals can do with some inspiration... Very like early David Sylvian :D

I also hope the new album will be as good. I'm sure it will be........

The person responsible for most of the guitar loops, FX and phrases on Neptunes is actually this guy http://www.spectrasonics.net/artists/pmaunu.php

That's funny... when I first heard At Mariana's Trench, I thought it TOTALLY sounded like Patrick O'Hearn (longtime associate of Peter's).

oh well regarding style, I do think he'll go on the same recipe, without surprises.

not that I won't be happy to be surprised.

electronic melodies movement in a rock glitter of ambiance was Neptunes, up for better.
