zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....typical muso snore fest zzzzzzzzzzz

siriuslee......In the 70's when I was totally TD MAD, part of their strange allure was the thrill of reading the equipment lists on the LP covers : moog modular, synthi AKS, EMS synthi, oberheim Polyphonic...PROJEKT ELEKTRONIK...etc..etc......

actually it was exotic but it didnt get me all drooling over the kit (much)....it seemed very arcane (HA HA)....and TD knew how to use the kit imho........

to make music never bettered by anyone with a synth*

but eff.....mini moog at number one?

shouda bin EDP Wasp :P

* well, maybe the other great EM band

I enjoyed that and a fitting number 1. Disappointing to see the mighty 'Tron, trailing in at number 13 though!

:D :D Anyone own a Synton Syrinx. An unusual monosynth with a pressure pad for pitchbend/modulation. Plus point was a second LFO so you could apply a delayed filter sweep to the overall sound. Good for powerful base lines too. 8) 8)

Fantastic vidoes - not managed to see them all yet, but is that not a Waldorf Wave I see behind the main protagonist? Surely the ultimate incarnation of the PPG / Wave ideals? One of my all-time most important synths (imho).
