Support acts for TD.

Post by Pertou »

Would you like to see a support act, before a TD concert?

I definetely would. I'm sure it would something complete different, but what I don't know.

Have you seen any bands warm up for TD? Did they make a lasting impression?

(how about Angela Aki opening for TD in Japan, next year?)

I would think that may have an effect on the full running time of a TD gig JP!.

Td are still excellent value for money in the fact that most gigs they do are up to the three hour mark. I would also think it wouldnt be easy to pick an appropriate support band for TD.

Definately not Angela Aki. I do feel that Whigfield would certainly be a good contrast and a simple warm up for before TD.

and Pertou, I think you would be pleased and she is danish. :)

It is very of its time..... just like Dream Mixes 1 which is so very 1995 with its glorious techno beat.

The thing is Denn, I don't only like TD, Berlin School, Prog Rock or Hard Rock, for examples. I do like all sorts of music. It is certainly not about "sides", it is about what each of us likes and nothing can change that and why should it?

Sorry. I wasn't meant as being personal, and I respect all kinds of opinions on music. It's all about taste, and there is no such thing as good or bad taste. So I truly respect your opinion.

In my opinion I would choose a lot of artists before Sannie. I don't see any link between her and TD whatsoever.

And that's just my opinion :-)

That is fine. I don't see many links either, except for one important one, music that I enjoy (in a different way to TD). As I said before, it would be a good contrast to TD, in my opinion. :)

I agree that DM1 is dated, and not timeless, but I think it was fantastic attempt of the genre, which is quite limited. Whigfield could relate to DM1, but I think DM1 has compositorical quality... be my baby

Define compositorical quality.

I can't!

All I say on this forum is my opinion, I just don't use the unimportant excuse 'IMHO' in every sentence.

Because I don't have a clue what you mean by compositorical quality, so I asked.

I can't explain compositorical quality, because it's subjective. There's just stuff I like and don't like... sorry. :D
