Rico wrote:Hey everyone, it's incredibly great to meet you all again, sad the old forum's a lost business (all the data, all the fun, all the flings).

I'm Victor aka sabina over at the old forum, don't know how much I'm remembered.

Anyway, I change my style into Rico, coming from Ricochet (of course :) ), which I used in every other forum but Tangerine Dream one. People nickname me from Ricochet to Rico, so here goes my new name.

Let's put this forum up and running. :)
Cheers
I remember you, and so does the hedgehog. Welcome back Victor and a happy new year to you :D

Hello, back again on this (new) forum.

As usual, I'll probably post only time to time, but I'll read regularly your topics, with much pleasure :)

Welcome back PP!

I too miss a few older members - maybe they will return soon as things settle in here...
I wonder where Brad is too (Hford).

It's possible Brad has not checked to see if the site is up and running. I do wish Ben would post and I haven't heard anything from Gerald. Perhaps he had a date with Iris and hasn't recovered yet!

Greetings, Earth People .....

So, the new forum, eh? Seems pretty much like the old one - hopefully less hack-able :D

We all have been busy bees out here gearing up for the new year ... new projects ... getting our daughter signed up for college ... etc. 'Tis good to find some time to catch up on all the happenings of all you friendly folk!

Hey ... any fellow builders (carpenters) out there?

Peace All

Tom .... :D

Welcome back Tom. Good to see you've found us. Will you be spending more time at the "cabin" when your daughter goes to college?

Why, Yes!!

We're moving in completely in July ... currently we are working on the final outfitting - built-in closets, shelves, more shelves, a few cabinets ... and a mudroom ... and a couple of 1700 gallon water tanks.

Sounds like a lot, but compared to the college sign-up dance, its a walk in the park!

Great to see you here Tom!

Carpenters? I know many, and could really do with learning some skills soon - I am planning to convert my loft later this year...

Tom, perhaps you'd be good enough to post some recent pics of the cabin and maybe a few of the surrounding landscape. I'd be very interested to see the the area you will be living in.

Many thanks,

Mick

I carved a pig out of wood about thirty plus years ago in a woodwork class, does that count?

Good to have you back Birdnest.
