:| I have never allowed the media to tell me what to think and there is nothing wrong with having thoughts and ideas - depending though, on how crazy they are!! To me, it just seems that some of yours are a little mixed up!! But then, that is just my thoughts and, of course, I could be crazy too!!!

Hi folks,

It's been quite a while now since we last heard anything regarding the release of the book, has anyone heard any update on the release date?

Cheers,

No, but plenty of other projects apparently have been given priority and are merrily underway.

More grist to the mill.

Exactly, that's what's worrying me.
I didn't bother about it before, due to Edgar's passing, but now that there are documentaries, I worry about fans previous financial commitments.

I don't mean to offend, and I don't have to justify my level of 'fanship' (if that makes any sense), but come on, we've paid well in advance for this bloody thing!

We know the book is coming in Autumn, because it's much bigger than expected (about 1000 pages or even more). We should be happy about that, don't you think ?
This kind of editorial task (to do a much bigger book) is not an easy one !

Is there any more definite evidence for that? Any announcement I have missed?

Yes, there is !

In the OFFICIAL TANGERINE DREAM NEWSLETTER (May 2016) :

AUTOBIOGRAPHY "FORCE MAJEURE" - STAGE OF AFFAIRS

We really know very well how we stretched your patience over the time with regard to the release of this book - this indeed complex work of autobiography. Thank you so far for supporting us with your love and passion for Tangerine Dream and Edgar, your participation in the pre-sales of the book to pre-finance the translations and many more. This project would not have been progressed without you.

But, however, we are still inbetween hard work to finalize this nearly 1000 pages strong book and finally will release it in AUTUMN 2016.

As said before, those who lost their patience can be refunded right away, just send an email to eastgate-book@gmx.com

Once again thank you so much for your great support!

Excellent!
Thank you!
That's all I wanted to know!
Things had just went very quiet, I didn't know what the current situation was.
I would never ask for a refund, even if it did all go tits-up, but I just didn't know where we currently stood.

But it has raised another question....
How do you get the newsletter???

:( Don't know if it is because there are now less staff or because they are very busy with other things, but I have emailed them twice in the last month and have not had any response!! :(

Ant, Same here. Since ordering the book I have moved home. I e-mailed Eastgate to give them my new address as I obviously did not want it to be delivered to my old address but now response from them!
