Last two tracks are the highlights for me - Cradle of Prodigies has a nice rolling bass and Toger Forest, just like the snappy beat.

not a filler on it IMHO
imho

just stumbled upon this on VoitN:

In June 2010 the album was re-released in the USA with a different track order and some spelling errors in the track listing, according to the label's web site. At time of writing, it is not confirmed whether this information is correct; probably this CD release just contains the same tracks as the previous CD release.

this shop here

also shows the tracklist from the so-far download only version with Jeromes tracks removed can anybode confirm? would like to have the album in both versions (with both being physical releases, when it comes to TD I don't care about downloads)

nobody checked it out yet? EB, can you maybe clarify if this is indeed the physical version of the 2nd edition of the album?

allow me to bring this up again, guys; because while I would really like to order the CD, I would also like to avoid the hassle of finding out that is is actually NOT a physical relase of the download version - just the original version with new packaging.
so, any news? Even VitN has no definite answer...

ok, I took the plunge and ordered the new version from jpc.de.
Also interest here seems to be rather limited, here are my first findings:
I just compared the opening sequences of the songs labelled "Cloud face" and "year of the monkey" and could find no equivalent on my TDI version of the CD.

So, they are different tracks than on the original CD, but I could find no way to establish if they are indeed the titles appearing udner the same name on the download version. can these be heard online somewhere? playing times are different than the ones given one voices in the net, and the overall playing time is 61:19.

So, instead of a final answer (original version or first physical appearance of the download version) things haven gotten even more complicated - this might be another one of those TD mysteries...

Due to your question (I read it only last week) I also ordered the CD last week but I don't have it yet.
I ordered because I want the two not on CD released songs in CD format and the sound samples at jpc are indeed Cloud Face and Year of the Monkey:
http://www.jpc.de/mp3/074/0741157914221_07.mp3
http://www.jpc.de/mp3/074/0741157914221_10.mp3
So it seems this is the Purple Pyramid version and unlike the Membran releases we really get here what is written on the cover.

thanks for the feedback. these are indeed the two tracks on the CD and it is from purple pyramid/cleopatra records.
Track 7, cloud face, is only 7 minutes long, though - according to VitN the download-version is supposedly 8.30
so this means it has been edited?

i just listened to this for the first time. and i must say, WOW. i'm only halfway through, but i find is very good so far.

"Silence the Barking Monk" really reminds me of another TD track around the 3.5 minute mark. i can't place it

was going to say that it was something off of Mars Polaris. Interestingly it's not on the regular release but it is on the Misspressing.

I'm sure there's a better thread for this, but this question has been bugging me forever. Can someone please identify that overused preset (and which synth it belongs to) that appears quite often in Edgar's tracks on GWOC, Mars Polaris, and Mota Atma? It's the very first sound you hear in "Lights Of Beijing", it's appeared in several Dream Roots tracks, the opening of "Beach Theme" on Valentine Wheels, and Chris Franke uses it in "Big Sur Romance". So often, when people ask about this preset, the conversation inevitably veers off to the Lily On The Beach harpsichord and the original question remains unanswered. If anyone can identify this synth for me, I'd really appreciate it!
