And also a million miles away from The Five Atomic Seasons stuff, which is by far my favorite TD material in years. Disappointment this year...Purple Diluvial :-(

The web he weaved...

Have a look here:
https://www.ssl-id.de/edgarfroese.de/sh ... p?p=0e7102
(title of the CD, tracklisting)

...then have a "Look inside" here:

Could be it was kind of a test run? Who knows...
I haven't read the book yet, maybe there are more TD easter eggs in there.

Holy Zarquon's Singing Fish!

Good find! I read this at school waaay back, quite a powerful book at that age. But goes to show there's always more to discover with EF

The Lord of the flies reference was definitely a good catch! Reminded me of Cyclone's catch of the Struwwelpeter reference from the same album for the song Hunter Shot By a Yellow Rabbit.

At first I didn't care much about this record, but now I definitely love it. Classical Jerome/Edgar contribution. My favorite track: "Passing All Signs" (how perfect!!; it evokes all the true Edgar characteristics on it). The only track I don't care for is "Leviathan".
