I have listened to my La La Wavelength. The sound is really good, nice wide presentation, another solid effort from La La Land Records. Most of the album has nicer equalization than the original Varase, but at times to me it was apparent they had lesser tapes to work with whereas Varase was able to use the masters. If Herr Froese had allowed La La access to the masters this new CD could very well have been better sounding than vinyl.
Perseverance and Esoteric should take some serious notes from this La La Land release on how to properly remaster Tangerine Dream albums - especially in regard to not using noise reduction as if it was the early 90's when it was new and no one knew better!
I was thinking that after the 1500 copies sells out the La La Wavelength could cost more on eBay than the Varase did until very recently
