Ebay Seller

Post by T4N63R1N3 DR34M »

Hi.

I was concerned about these items on ebay. They are all counterfeit (although they are very well presented ones)
but the guy is making loads of money selling CDRs with a bit of extra packaging.

Take a look. I reported to eBay but don't suppose they'll do anything.
Maybe they would as TD are the holder of the intellectual copyright..
I messaged this to Einstein's Barber

Looking at his sales history he has sold lots of these fakes.

Anyway here's the page link. http://tinylink.net/6hbmc

Thanks for the warning.
A shame that some don't care about music, just profit.

I've reported this seller at least twice. eBay don't seem to be bothered about selling counterfeit stuff like this. Which is ironic.

Because I tried to sell a legitimate Microsoft Office disc (it was a spare and it was no use to anyone that didn't have a license key).

This was pulled within hours of me listing it, with a very nasty warning and no refund of sellers fees.

But they still take the sellers fees, so eBay wins!

I've reported all the items he has listed, and it's the 2nd time I've done it.

I had a Radio Massacre International, Northern Echo official CDR listed
and that got pulled within a day !

I don't particularly have a massive problem with boots, it has been many, many years since I bought one however.

It's the sheer audacity of his prices. Also can't believe people (even TD fans ;) ) are daft enough
to pay the prices (I know it's an auction and the bidder sets the price, but I wonder if they realise exactly what they're getting ?)

Having said that, If TD put as much effort into releasing the stuff like this guy does (posters/picture CDs, special boxes) ......:)

It would be interesting to get hold of a copy to see exactly what you get for your money, but
I'm not prepared to shell out, even if ebay can get a refund if i'm not satisfied...

I noticed this lot the other day and wondered if they were 'legit' releases, I'm assuming not.

His explanation is quite 'inventive'

"This item is not an un official copy, since there was never
an official release in the first place to make a copy of".

Hi Guys,

There are many things to complain about, various issues right now from misprints and misspellings of
Virgin productions to the ridiculous offers on Ebay. We will get our lawyers on these cases as soon as
our schedule allows to stop these unprofessional activities. So please save your money for products
which are authorized by ourselves.

Thanks,
regards,
EB
