Post by Jon »

Mike Oldfield, and Rowan Atkinson playing Chariots Of Fire.

15 minutes of fame for electronic music tonight? :-D

Mike Oldfield was AMAZING and I cried with laughter with Chariots of Fire when Mr Bean played synthesizer ! A moment of anthology ! And yes Jon, it's a GREAT NIGHT for eMusic

It was indeed funny !!
And not to forget, also a PinkFloyd song was played.

It was a marvellous show.
And with 24 HD channels and one in 3D via satellite one can compose his own Olympics !!

Recorded the complete opening broadcast in 3D.

Also, part of it looked like the cover to Momentary Lapse Of Reason

We recorded the ceremony on the 3D channel too. By mistake.
We don't have a 3D TV

Missed the whole darned thing. was in a pub down in Devon, eating and drinking too much. Have to say that everyone I've spoken to has said that they loved it, even the most cynical of people have been saying they wanted to hate it but couldn't. Kind of wish I'd made the effort now.
