So pleased for the Stoke fans ......enjoy the ride !!T4N63R1N3 DR34M wrote:We were at the matchbergen-dreamer wrote:The mighty Potters are through to the group play in Europa League after this result tonight:
STOKE CITY FC 4 , FC Thun 1 (5-1 on aggr.)
Stoke looked nervous / complacent / couldn't be bothered, for the first 15 mins or so.
Then when the goal went in everything seemed to settle and FC Thun were gonners
Credit to the travelling fans, however (all 50 of them ) they were in great voice. The Brit was not it's usual hostile arena. Maybe because we don't really have much against the Swiss. Apart from them having all the money from our TV/film//music stars of course
Stoke fans even joined in with the celebration when Thun scored their goal
Good to hear your son is back on the field again Colepsilon75 wrote:Tough game at the rugby today, pitch was like a mud bath, heavy conditions took a lot out of the player's. Enjoyed watching son again, been a while.
Never ceases to amaze me when these footballers dive around at the slightest touch, they would not last 5 minutes on a rugby field.
See...T4N63R1N3 DR34M wrote:Pity we couldn't get the game re-arranged to play at Wembley, bigdaveh wrote:Well the Potters against Bolton today Tuff day as know Ant will be there and wanting Bolton win!
