Quite pleased to see there is another soul who found the '86 U.S. tour to be their favorite show, and to boot, saw the Meadowbrook gig outside of Detroit. Perfect setting for TD: outside, very natural surroundings, incredibly loud sound, just the right size venue. Too bad about the little technical glitch at the start of "Pilots" (priceless looks on the faces of F/F/H as they all zeroed in on the sound man). Saw many TD shows before and after, but this one will always be the highlight for me.
detroit-dreamer, that was a spectacular event, I did not want to leave, and I didn't get a program tour book doggone it........... remember just before the band came onstage and somehow they were recording the chirping insects and playing it back in real time, had everybody guessing??
I've been lucky enough to have seen a few TD concerts over the years but choosing my favourite would be like asking me to choose my favourite child. Can't be done.

Shepherds Bush Empire 11/6-2005
The two Jeanne d'Arc gigs in Berlin, July 2005
The first two Paradiso gigs in Brandenburg 23-24/9 2005
The Tempodrom in Berlin 21/9-2006
The last one was my favourite, because they kicked ass!
