Good to hear, I remember going there in 1993, before seeing Brian May at the Ice rink, bought a load of Chameleons CDs at very resonable price.

I think the death knell has been sounded, for the high street record store. It's extremely sad, as I gained a great deal of appreciation for music, by hanging round my local record shop (I discovered TD this way) and it kept me out of trouble as well!

the passing of the megastore is lamented by me, only as a pointer to the death of mass marketing of music in the high street.......vinyl and cd will live on thru the independents, on line stores and the audiophile community, as well as the true underground, ie eastgate et al

tomorrow bm goes to brick lane and the rough trade record shoppe to buy a kraftwerk 12 incher
