THX 4 the welcome

Post by DITHMAR »

Hi all and thx for your warm welcome!

I took EG quite a while to approve me, and I didn't recieve confirmation till this morning. It must be easier to get a highly classified job at some intellgence community than get the rubberstamp here. Well, they must have had their reasons.

And thx for your nice comments about Logos, White Eagle and the Schulze track. It's always nice to get some kudos for stuff that you worked on with your heart involved.

Hope I can contribute with something fun/nice in here, an look forward to share my thoughts and opinions with all of yours.

Cheers mate. I'm sure I'll have some good times in here.

That track is not TD-related at all, but made for my more clubby audience. I played it live at Christiania Friday night - I tell you they went nuts. Lovely to see from the stage :-)

I'll take a look at the TDFZ-website the coming days, and hope we can have a new fresh look by the end of the week.

Welcome Dennis, surprised your profile took so long to go through, as EB ususally lets spammers on here automatically !! (Just kidding EB!).

Look forward to some top notch postings from yourself.

24db (or south-southwest as I usually call it) and timer - cheers. Main thing is that I got through. It was a tad frustrating to see people in here welcoming me, without the ability to talk back. Don't want to start of with a bad reputation as a person who doesn't reply to direct talking. ;-)

Will try Andy! I'm doing Kiew Mission right now. Even got a guy ready to do the russian bit on it. After that I will turn it a tad and do tracks heavily inspired by TD, but not interpretations of their compositions - or maybe not LOL

The tracks are permanently on my MysPace profile :-) -> permanently? Nah - but for the time being LOL

Maybe some of you guys can help me here. Which ones of the regulars on this forum plays/composes/produces music? I love inspiration, and I have ears the size of an elephant when presented to new stuff...

I really do feel that it would be really good if you could do a version of Cherokee Lane, Dithmar.

Thx again :-) Excuse me for not having my things in order Desert, but on what album can I find the Lane? I'll listen to it as soon as possible and see if it fits my way of thinking...

It is the first track of Tangerine Dream's album, Encore. It is my favourite album of all, (along with a couple of recent TD ones), and I especially love the interweaving sequences of Cherokee Lane. I think that if anyone can do a version of this epic, you can Denn.... really hope you'll agree to.

Another CD that has gone M.I.A. Lost around 20 TD-cds that way. Edgar must love me. I've purchased several of the albums up to three or even four times.

But I remember the album and the track as one of my fav's too. Need a fresh listen again though...

It is a peach of a track and an essential album!
