I remember Green records in Tamworth where i bought a fair bit of early TD from.
Unfortunately squeezed out by Record chains barstewards

Appart from Glasgow & Edinburgh theres only 0ne independent store nearby me. There used to be about ten. Changed days. I could walk into HMV nowadays with 100 notes and walk back out after 10 minutes still holding the 100 notes. Virgin is absolute pish too. Used to be OK about 5 years ago. OK if you like not good music though

Glasgow seems empty without Fopp now, I mean Avalache and Lost in Music are OK, but they're hardly the same

I very much hope that Spillers in Cardiff(oldest record shop in the world) stays alive,apparantly it is being fought over as part of a divorce its always been a great independent store
