Paid

Post by 24db »

I have just paid the two charities: Alzheimer’s UK and Diabetes UK* the grand sum of £852 (that's 1,757.06 US Dollars), which is £426 each.

I'd like to personally thank everyone for their help and support with this, especially Chris Newman, Colin, Gary, Stephen, Jacob, Ron, Graham, Matthew, Johannes Schmoelling, Andreas, Edgar Froese, Eastgate, Bianca and several annonymous donators.

Without each and everyone of you this raffle wouldn't have been the huge success it was (and it was a bit of laugh as well :D).

I'll be getting written comfirmation of payment from both Charities soon...when I do I'll post scans of the letters.

* Diabetes UK also got gift aid, so that no tax will be have to paid on the donation.
I had to do this over the phone, otherwise I would have posted an automated email response.

cheers...the raffle is over....the new one starts on August 1st ;)
