40th Anniversary

Post by 24db »

I had an idea the other day (well it had to happen one day...did I say it was good one? but bare with me ;)).

To mark TD's 40th anniversary I thought I'd like to expand upon an idea that started with the SBE DVD fan interviews..ie ask the fans what they think on audio and then perhaps use that to make an online audio blog...or failing that at least a text based webpage to mark the event. So...here's the idea...'we' come up with '10' questions, statements or points of view, you answer them (I did think about doing 40...but that would be too much I think), comment on them or give your counter-views and then I collate your comments into whatever format seems viable ready for the official anniversary in september.

Good idea? bad idea? I know it's a bit all over the place (like Scrambled eggs as Edgar once said ;)). What's in it for you I hear you say? OK...first the first 14 people to reply to the questions get one free raffle ticket for the TD Charity memorabilia draw

Andy;

Question 2 - What was the first record you bought? where did you buy it, where did you play it and what did you think of it?

Does it have to be first record bought or can it be first record heard?

My first encounter with TD was a present from my brother.

you can answer the question in anyway you think mate, basically the idea is to get your comments and ideas on TD, what the group means or meant to you. Put your own spin on any of the questions, ignore bits or add extra details...it's up to you.
