Off Topic!!!

BM...do you remember hearing the Brian Eno album 'spinner'? I think it was called that Jah Wobble played on or remixed (I forget now)...one of those tracks is so much like an Edgar solo track it's uncanny

I Believe good old Mr Wobble did quite a bit with Holger Czukay,a brilliant bass player IMHO.....

I caught them on tour at the old capitol theatre in Cardiff in 1983......i managed to get a few badges thrown into the crowd by John, his half Heineken Can :D and either Martin Atkins or Richard Dudanski's Dumstick :?

Lydon wore a huge long trench coat that night and the band were pretty good on a whole, but not a patch on what they were when Wobble and Levine was in town
RIP Edgar. I am going to miss you.

They were damn excellent those first two albums, and on the Metal Box and especially Flowers of Romance they just threw the normal rock sound outta the window.......... they lost the plot a little after that but 1986s Album was a good one when Mcgeoch joined the band
RIP Edgar. I am going to miss you.

Well i find it hard to believe the youth hated them, everyone i knew around the pistols era had Tarten Bondage trousers Spiky hair and Bikers jackets covered in badges and pins and almost everyone of them had an SP t/shirt of some sort............... 8) Halcyon days of youth
RIP Edgar. I am going to miss you.
