And they had one hell of a discussion in that clip. Is Tangerine Dream a rock and roll band? One of them dares to call rock and roll primitive, which John Peel raises strongly objections to.
Peter Baumann closes the discussion, saying it does not matter what kind of music Tangerine Dream plays.
And they had been drinking.
Those were the days.
Rock and Roll!

I won't make it to Cardiff, there's no concert with TD, then it's too expensive...unless the charity raffle is supposed to raise money for an exclusive concert??

the charity raffle will be 50:50 for Diabetes and dementia charities. You won't have to be there to enter. Fingers crossed they'll be more than one or two prizes, so you should stand a good chance of getting something. details to follow etc etc. I'll have to do a special page on my website for it, with some photos of all the prizes and who has each ticket perhaps. BM, Colin and Chris can oversee everything and make sure everything is fair and above board
I'll be popping in a couple of posters and copies of things I hope gets the raffle heated up for such good causes...roll on cardiff

Wow!... I'll like to acquire some discreet TD t-shirt clothing, but what's on offer is disgusting for a middle aged man.

Aren't there any TD tees that don't feature a full size album cover
or a hairy face b/w picture taken in 1977.....

I still have my Melrose tour sweatshirt. It is a very nice understated, black, collared, long-sleeve design with the three-bicycle photo at the top.

My favourite music related top is a Cocteau Twins long sleeved T-shirt: black with a very discrete ballerina embroidered and a small Cocteau Twins logo below it.

BTW - I was very impressed with the Irish T-shirts at the Astoria gig - very tasteful and smart!

I've got a T-shirt from that tour. Found it the other day but it's in a bit of a state.
