I listened to Stratosfear (vinyl) last night -as usual in headphones in darkness . It remains a perfect example of atmospheric intensity. It conjures up mindexpanding vistas via its deep soundscapes. A masterpiece of texture and width, height and depth. no wonder TD do soundtracks - they are thee masters of cinemascopic vistas

sycophancy is maturing :P

Agreed, one of their very best albums. I was initially a little disappointed on first listen back in 76, having discovered TD a few months before and rejoiced in the beauty of Ricochet, Phaedra and Rubycon. However, it proved to be a real grower for me.

Music for those who dont like music. Music as wallpaper, a reflection of modern blandness and starbucks hegemony. Utterly insipid and dire-bolical. Music for cisterns....>no need to get bent out of shape. Just opinion based on opinion<

New albums, soundtracks, new merchandise, a tour,....

T.D. I salute the incredible creativity, the surprises, the legacy, the future...the music

Some will not be here, or there for the future. But were here, and there in the past and are with us always.

Thank you.

I give you: Tangerine. Dream.
