for Colin:

'Charlie Roper: What they brought you in here for then.
Francis Bigger: Oh just some pain in the back. Its a ooh, ooh dear.
Charlie Roper: Last bloke in that bed had the same thing.
Francis Bigger: Did he?
Charlie Roper: Right up to the end.
Francis Bigger: Well thats cheerful. I say one thing for them its a
nice warm bed.
Charlie Roper: Should be, they only took him out half an hour ago.'

'Dr James Kilmore: Just as I thought. You fell on your coccyx.
Francis Bigger: I did not. I fell on my back.
Dr James Kilmore: Your coccyx is at the base of the spine.
Francis Bigger: Well Ive never heard it called that before.'

'Biddle: Nurse I dreamt about you last night.
Nurse Clarke: Did you?
Biddle: No, you wouldnt let me.'

'Dr. Tinkle: Its an enigma, Matron, an enigma.
Mr. Roper: Im not having another one of those.'

zzzzzzzzzzzz....

Back to work tomorrow after three weeks off with a mystery malady I'm calling mash-up head :?

I'll omit the details but I do find it sad that in this instance (and by projection for tens of thousands of other people) a little better communication between NHS pros could have made this all easier, possibly avoidable. Still, we are all human I s'pose and people ain't cars to be fixed. Hey ho.

:D
imho

I was carted off in an Ambulance yesterday with a very sore stomach. They kept me in A & E all afternoon doing blood tests and all the other stuff. Let me out at 6.30 pm. On my way home the pain was gradually coming back and right now isn't too bad but still there. I'm kinda worried there is something sinister wrong that the lovely nurses & Doctors didn't detect ..I've had this since Tuesday.
