Bugger.

Just got back from Cardiff. Got to the Prince of Wales at about 4:20 but no sign of any TD fans.

Asked around a bit but nobody had a clue.

I even asked a group of guys who looked at me blankly and said "We're on a stag night mate". It was then that I noticed one of them in a black and white stripey shirt and carrying a car tyre.

Not sure what went wrong, I'm guessing it was the wrong Prince of Wales pub.

Took a few of the other pubs in the area but still no sign.

Finally gave up after two hours. Still never mind there's always next time.

Still my wife will be happy, the car's full of petrol.

London by 9pm - that's >2 hour pub time lost! trains had obviously been in a far better state post-diluvian than admins had expected... as those of you who are british (in this lifetime or previous) will know admin here can't usually organise three points into a triangle. Not this time

4 hours never went so quickly.

Respect to Colin for hosting, Stephen for driving, BM for the CD that e'en now is being honoured and Andy for organising the raffle and a pleasure to be in like minded (and different minded) company

Went out the pub to make a call and a young punk said "not seen a TD t-shirt in a long time - my dad bought me Rubycon..." I urged him to get inside - dunno if he did.

(On and off) I've been following this event tonight, and I feel terribly sorry for ChrisM to miss out on all the fun, I've witnessed on the blurry snapshots.
I would have loved to be there. I have met many of the guys at previous concerts, but it seems this event is something special...

Is the meeting over now? I believe there's an 11pm curfew for pubs in UK?

Dunno - I had to leave @ 6 from the advice of the train people re the flooding.

Many bars have extended hours now - I'd be surprsied if the Barmee Armee was tucked up in bed with a mug of h0t milk and a teddy bear @ 11:01
