TD fans watch out: Can Atilla - Waves Of Wheels

Post by Jon »

I finally bought this album, it has been on my want list for years. It is 78 minutes of brilliant, melodic electronic/instrumental music, very much inspired by late 80s/early 90s Tangerine Dream.

Any other fans of this album?

Listen to Mona Lisa Smile in particular here:

Been playing this in the car today after seeing your post. Had forgotten how good it is (and how similar some ofthe tracks are to certain TD tracks from the Optical Race/Melrose era

Also dug out the Cd "Ave" by Can Atilla.

Excellent stuff again. More varied styles on this one.

Mainly long tracks including an epic 26-minute opener.

The CD is "dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of Tangerine Dream"
and certain parts are almost copycat.......
